Following an amendment to EN 360:2002 regulations concerning construction of fall arresters, the AZ 800 roof rope is withdrawn from production.
The AZ 800 cable was attached to the PROTEKT fall arresters when used horizontally and when dropped over the edge.In accordance with the PPE-R/11.087 guidelines in the recommendation for use:The maximum length of the end (including e.g. shock absorber, handle, loop, connector,...) not coiling into the device must not exceed 600 mm.
A CR 250HV fall arrester shall be used to protect a worker moving horizontally and at risk of falling over the edge (PPE-R/11.060).
